Wells Environment Network Eco Week
This week is Wells Environment Network Eco Week, wherein pupils have been invited to take part in a series of Tutor group challenges to promote sustainability. On Tuesday, they avoided single-use plastics; on Wednesday, they were encouraged to travel to School sustainably – walking, cycling, using public transport or car sharing where possible. On Thursday, the focus was on saving energy by turning off unnecessary lights and electronics, and on Friday, pupils shared their ideas for how the School can become more environmentally friendly with the hope of implementing them as soon as possible. Our Prep School also got involved, taking part in a litter pick on Wednesday!
