Geology trip
Our Geologists have returned from their successful A level field trip to Devon. Over three days they looked at landslides and fossils in Lyme Regis, Dartmoor granite, geological structures at Hartland Quay as well as interpreting sediments near Bude. A variety of practical tasks were undertaken, assessing all the key skills as well as much consolidation of topics studied in the classroom. Mr Rowley was impressed by the enthusiasm and quality of work shown by the Sixth Form despite the blustery squalls on what proved to be a very enjoyable and productive trip.
