A level Music Study Day
Ahead of our Music A level Study Day, Jazz Trumpeter and Royal College of Music Jazz Professor Mark Armstrong worked with our Jazz Orchestra and Senior Jazz Combo.
This year the day’s focus was on Jazz from 1920-1960, covering dixieland/early, swing/big band, bebop and cool. Pupils demonstrated various features of jazz style, harmony and how to approach the jazz elements of the A level Music exam.
