Early Years Assistant for High Needs Children

Wells Cathedral Prep School is seeking a dedicated Early Years Assistant to support children with high needs within Little Wellies Nursery. The successful candidate will help provide a high standard of physical, emotional, social, and intellectual care, in liaison with other staff, parents and services, ensuring the children are fully supported in their development and daily activities.
Working closely with the Early Years team, you will also support colleagues across the setting and assist with the day-to-day routines of the Nursery and Pre-Prep, helping to maintain a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
Closing date: Friday 20 March 2026, 12 noon
Interviews are scheduled to take place on Tuesday 24 March 2026
Suitable candidates may be interviewed before the closing date and Wells Cathedral School reserves the right to withdraw the position if an early appointment is made. Applicants are therefore encouraged to apply early.
