Head of Hockey with Teacher of Physical Education and Sport
Full-time or Part-time
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Head of Hockey to support the development and delivery of hockey across the School. The successful candidate will play an important role in promoting participation, developing pupils’ skills and fostering a positive and enjoyable sporting environment.
The Head of Hockey will assist in delivering a progressive hockey programme that enables pupils of all abilities to develop their knowledge, skills and confidence in the sport, while encouraging teamwork, commitment and a lifelong enjoyment of physical activity.
Key responsibilities include:
Delivering high-quality hockey coaching to pupils across different age groups and abilities.
Supporting the delivery of a progressive hockey programme throughout the School.
Helping pupils to develop their skills, knowledge and understanding of the game.
Promoting a positive and inclusive environment where pupils enjoy participating in hockey.
Assisting with the organisation and delivery of training sessions, including pre-season training where required.
Supporting fixtures, tournaments and other hockey-related events.
Monitoring and supporting pupils’ development and progress in hockey.
The successful candidate will be passionate about sport, contribute to the wider sporting and PE provision of the School and be committed to inspiring young people to participate and develop their abilities in hockey as part of a healthy and active lifestyle.
This position is being offered either as a Full or Part time role, depending on a successful candidate’s individual situation.
