Jazz Orchestra concert
The Wells Cathedral School Jazz Orchestra presented their ‘Sounds of the 40s’ show to a capacity audience with standing room only in Cedars Hall. The band presented a stylised swing set including music by Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman and Duke Ellington. A number of vocalists were featured and the School’s Dance company brought real energy to the show. It was lovely to hear such positive and enthusiastic comments from so many audience members afterwards.
