Sparks Recital
The Sparks Recital series continues to be something really remarkable. Our young performers curate and present complete mini recitals of their own, which is an extraordinary opportunity for musicians so early in their musical journeys.
This week’s recital was terrific. Mezzo soprano Rosie B (Lower Sixth) and double bass player Izzy C-N (Upper Sixth) were both wonderful: professional, poised and imaginative both in their programming and in their performances. The audience response was hugely warm, with standing ovations reflecting the enjoyment and admiration in the room.
Many thanks, too, to the collaborative piano team for their superb work with these two young soloists.
