Bryony Moody – Cello 

Bryony performs regularly as a freelance cellist in the Southwest and London. She enjoys a varied
playing career with experience performing in chamber groups, orchestras, as a session player and
soloist. Bryony plays with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, National Symphony Orchestra,
Westminster Chamber Orchestra, The Faust Chamber Orchestra, La Folia, The London Contemporary
Orchestra, London Choral Sinfonia, London Symphonic Rock Orchestra, London Electronic
Orchestra, Orchestra Vitae and Bristol Ensemble. Chamber music is her main passion, enjoying a
busy performing schedule with The Edington Ensemble, Fendt Ensemble and Quattro String Quartet.
In the pop world, she performs and records for artists, including Franc Moody, Horus Records, Output
Input, George Ezra, Skinshape, Olivia Dean and Becky Hill.
Bryony currently teaches cello at Lambrook Prep School and Shrewsbury House School, and coaches
on West of England Youth Orchestra courses.
Bryony plays an English cello in the style of Fendt, made for A& J Betts circa 1845.
