Amos Miller Leads Courtois Trombone Event

On Thursday Wells trombonists took part in a trombone day run by Amos Miller, Head of Brass at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, a founding member of Onyx Brass and previous Principal trombone of the Royal Ballet Sinfonia.

Alongside young trombonists from across the region, Wells pupils enjoyed a day of ensemble and solo performance, advice in an inspiring masterclass led by Amos, a revealing Question and Answer session, all rounded off with a mass blow by the musicians involved.
