Latest Sierra Leone Projects are Nearly Complete
Since 2009, we have had an annual trip to Freetown in Sierra Leone, partnering with two local schools in the capital: The Ballanta Academy of Music and Performing Arts (the only music academy in the country) and the JT Reffell Memorial French Friendship School.
During this time, we have forged a very close relationship and have supported many projects over there, including a scholarship programme for pupils to attend the Academy and develop their musical talents, as well as financial help to build new classrooms and a mini auditorium.
We are pleased to announce that the latest projects are now nearing completion, and we cannot wait to see them in real life when we go again in October 2022, after a two-year hiatus due to COVID-19. In the meantime, please keep supporting the project by attending the Event on the Lawn in March 2022, which showcases our own pupils.
