Clarinet and Saxophone Extravaganza
We welcomed nearly 70 clarinet and saxophone players to Cedars Hall for our Clarinet and Saxophone Extravaganza.
Participants were treated to a day of masterclasses, workshops, ensemble playing and the highlight of the day was the world premiere of a new commission by renowned composer Teresa Barlow that featured players of all standards from complete beginners to conservatoire level. Huge thanks to inspirational tutors Sarah Field, Edward Leaker, Richard Russell and Lenny Sayers. Tutors were supported by a team of students from the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and special mention must go to our trade supporters John Packer Woodwind, Yanagisawa, Vandoren and Rossetti.
