OW James Buckle appointed Professor of Bass Trombone at RAM
We were so thrilled to hear that OW James Buckle (2011) has been appointed Professor of Bass Trombone at the Royal Academy of Music (RAM). You can read more about James’ impressive career in the official press release.
Mr Brown, Head of Brass, comments, “OW James Buckle continues to be a leading voice in the UK brass community, inspiring brass players wherever he goes! The Brass Department was very excited to hear about James’ appointment as a professor at the Royal Academy of Music, in addition to his role as professor at the Royal College of Music. It was an absolute pleasure to welcome James back to Wells last year for masterclasses and a performance as part of our Trombone Day, and we look forward to welcoming him back again soon!”
