Business and Economics Grade Booster workshop
The Business and Economics Department took 38 pupils from Year 11, Lower Sixth and the Upper Sixth to a ‘Grade Booster’ exam workshop run by Tutor2u.
The workshop took place in the Vue Cinema complex and the pupils could even snack on popcorn and get comfortable by reclining their seats whilst studying! There were some extremely engaging presenters who delivered their expert knowledge on exam technique as well as the topics, which pupils often find the most challenging. We were very proud of our Wells pupils for their audience participation – many were confident enough to share their answers to very tricky questions in front of well over a hundred strangers, via a microphone. They were rewarded with Tutor2u ‘merch’ and plenty of kudos. Pupils may now follow up from the course using their booklets and a wide range of online resources they can access using the QR code on the back.
