Dance Showcase
On Saturday 10th May, Cedars Hall was filled with energy as 27 dancers from Years 7 to the Upper Sixth took to the stage for their annual Senior School Dance Showcase, Sanctuary: A Modern Dance Interpretation of The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
Over the course of 22 routines, the pupils brought Victor Hugo’s classic novel to life through a blend of contemporary, lyrical, ballet, folk, and jazz dance styles. The performance was the result of this year’s dance company sessions and individual lessons. The hall was packed with a captivated audience who were full of praise for the dancers’ skill, professionalism and storytelling. A huge well done to all the performers involved!
