Bronze DofE practice expedition
In May, 51 pupils in Year 9 completed their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) practice expedition, navigating their own routes, cooking, and camping with friends—many for the first time. With perfect weather and plenty of teamwork, the pupils rose to the challenge brilliantly and gained valuable skills in independence, resilience, and problem-solving. Thank you to the staff who made the trip possible, and to parents for your support. We look forward to the qualifying expedition later this Term.
