Enjoy a fabulous day of recorder playing at Wells Cathedral School with specialist recorder teachers Anna Stegman and Tabea Debus. The workshop will take place at Quilter Hall in the Music School and the day will include:

Tabea graduated from the Royal Academy of Music in 2017 with distinction. She was appointed Meaker Fellow at the RAM for 2016-17 and also won the Principal’s Prize for exceptional all-round studentship. A 2016 City Music Foundation Artist, Tabea was also selected St John’s Smith Square Young Artist for 2015-16 and Handel House Talent for 2016-17. She released her debut CD in 2012 followed by ‘Cantata per Flauto’ in 2016. She teaches recorder at Wells Cathedral School and takes workshops and lectures at the Royal Academy of Music. “Tabea Debus is one of the most exciting young musicians in the early music world.” – Classic FM
Anna is a passionate performer and teacher of early and contemporary recorder music. As well as performing with her own chamber music groups, Ensemble Odyssee and The Royal Wind Music, she is regularly invited to teach workshops and masterclasses. She has taught at the Royal Academy of Music in London since 2014. Born in Germany, she is based in Amsterdam where she obtained her Masters degree at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam in 2011 with distinction.
