Project Description
Natalie Perry, Deputy Head (Academic)
I grew up in Surrey, and completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Bath, before working as a teaching assistant in a comprehensive school near Godalming. This sparked my passion for teaching and I subsequently went on to complete a PGCE and an MSc in Teaching and Learning at the University of Oxford. I started my Science teaching career in 2008 in a large comprehensive school in South Gloucestershire, before moving to teach in a small comprehensive school in rural Somerset. After teaching for six years in the State sector, a move to the independent sector beckoned. I spent five years at Milton Abbey School in Dorset, initially as Head of Science, before taking on the role of Assistant Head (Teaching and Learning). I joined Wells Cathedral School as Deputy Head (Academic) in September 2019.
