Bass Honours
David Heyes is very pleased to have become a D’Addario Performing Artist, one of only 61 classical double bassists to receive the accolade across the world. He joins a stellar line-up of bassists including Americans, Gary Karr and Barry Green, Italian, Gabriele Ragghianti and Mexican Andres Martin.
D’Addario & Co Inc. support leading string players throughout the world and selection to become a Performing Artist is a rare honour. David has used D’Addario strings on his solo basses for many years, as do many of the Wells students, and he looks forward to working with the company at international workshops and concerts throughout 2018.
