Emma and Bandit at Crufts

Crufts Agility Winner

Congratulations to Year 11 student Emma and her beautiful cocker spaniel Bandit, who won the Crufts Young Kennel Club Medium ABC Agility Competition on Friday, as well as winning the semi-final and reaching fourth place in the Young Kennel Club Agility Dog of the Year Competition, held in the main Crufts arena on Thursday evening, and televised on Channel 4.

Emma has trained her dog Bandit, (Kennel Club name, Black Knight of Wessex), since he was a puppy. He is a four year old working cocker spaniel born in Wells. Emma has been taking part in agility competitions for six years and trains at Active Agility with her trainer Stephen Bartholomew in Clutton, Somerset. She trains at the club once a week and competes most weekends in the summer. This year she has also been selected as a reserve for the Great Britain Junior Agility Team.
