Chess Success

After qualifying via a tournament held within school over last term, seven Year 5 pupils, George, Georgia, William, Paul, Joshua, Linsey and Hugo; as well as Charlie from Year 6, all competed in the follow-on Megafinal held at Millfield on Sunday.

Each pupil had to play six games. They gained lots of valuable experience and had a lot of fun too.

Particular congratulations should go to Joshua and Hugo, who gained enough points to go on to the regional Gigafinal.
