Butterfly Champion!
Congratulations to Year 4 swimmer Asta who was crowned Under 10 Butterfly Champion at the IAPS National Swimming Championships held at the London Aquatics Centre in the Olympic Park in Stratford in London on Saturday.
Asta was selected for the National Finals following a series of regional heats, attracting over 4,000 competitors from 250 schools nationwide. She competed in the Under 10 25M Butterfly category, racing against competitors in the year above, and securing a place in the final with the fastest qualifying time. She then went on to win the final against stiff national competition to win the title.
