Side by Side Orchestra Day
Paul Denegri, Wells Head of Student Musical Performance, hosted an exciting workshop and concert day for Prep Schools in Cedars Hall on Tuesday.
50 young musicians, from King’s Hall School, Taunton; Salisbury Cathedral School and Leehurst Swan School in Salisbury, plus 15 from Wells Junior School, enjoyed workshops, sectionals for brass and percussion, woodwind and strings, as well as multi-use sectionals. At the end of the day, the musicians gave a finale performance side by side with Wells specialist orchestral players for their parents and staff.
