Caving with the RAF
Wells RAF Flt Lt, Ken Padgett, took a group of RAF cadets caving in the Mendips on Wednesday afternoon. The group visited Swildon’s Hole, the longest and possibly, wettest, cave system in the Mendips! It is connected to Priddy Green Sink and forms part of the Priddy Caves Site of Special Scientific Interest.
The group enjoyed an active and challenging journey through the caves, experiencing a more sporting journey than the previous visit to Goat Church Cavern, and seeing some stunning rock architecture.
