Sixth Form Climate Change Conference

On Monday Wells Sixth Form pupils were invited to attend a Climate Change Conference hosted by Wells Cathedral, benefiting from a morning of inspiring speeches, interactive workshops and a plenary session.

Speakers included Robert Varley, Chartered meteorologist and former Chief Executive of the Met Office; Dr Andy Parsons, a member of Greenpeace who has researched the effects of climate change on polar ecosystems; and Caroline Pomeroy, Director of Climate Stewards.
