Side By Side Orchestra Day

On Tuesday, Wells ran a side by side orchestra day for 40 prep school pupils from King’s Hall School in Taunton, Farleigh Prep School in Andover and St Peter’s Prep School in Exmouth. The young pupils spent the day rehearsing alongside Wells specialist musicians and were joined by musicians from our own Junior School. Paul Denegri and Harvey Brink conducted the orchestral sessions, with brass, strings and woodwind sectionals run by Wells music teachers. 

At the end of the afternoon, the orchestra performed a concert featuring the score from Mission Impossible to parents and staff in Cedars Hall – a lively ending to a highly creative and musical day.
