Development Day for Oxbridge

On Friday Wells was delighted to co-host the inaugural Oxbridge development day alongside Millfield School. This invigorating event saw 80 pupils from local state and independent schools join together to ready themselves for Oxbridge interviews.

Pupils were challenged to think laterally, develop their opinions and discuss their ideas through a carousel of four activities. By the end of the day pupils were intellectually exhausted and felt better prepared for their forthcoming interviews. One pupil commented, “The day taught us to come up with a large variety of ideas and to think outside the box. The interview practice was challenging and we enjoyed reflecting on each others interviews.“
