NYOW

Luke Returns to NYOW

Congratulations to Year 9 violinist, Luke Doyle, who has once again been chosen for the National Youth Orchestra of Wales. Founded in 1945, the NYOW has the distinction of being the first national youth orchestra in the world and is Europe’s longest-standing national youth orchestra. This year, the orchestra will work for the first time with the New Zealand-born conductor, Holly Mathieson, as well as with a first-class team of professional musicians, before going on to perform three concerts across Wales. In addition to performances at the Prichard-Jones Hall in Bangor and a final concert at St David’s Hall, the orchestra will once again close the Fishguard International Festival of Music at the stunning St David’s Cathedral.
