Activity Afternoon for Wells CCF Cadets

Senior Wells CCF cadets enjoyed an afternoon of rigorous activities in their year groupings on Wednesday, directed by recently promoted Major Stuart Elks, the Contingent Commander.

After a fully distanced parade inspection at the front of Cedars, the cadets split into groups to focus on key physical and leadership activities. Year 10 cadets took part in Royal Navy Gun Run training and Life Raft Flipping; cadets in Year 11 learned Infantry Section Attack skills; whilst the Lower and Upper Sixth cadets were assigned Cadet Force Instructor Training on a CFIT Course to teach leadership and lecture competencies.

This year the Wells Cadet Force has significantly increased in numbers, with over 200 young cadets now part of the Wells Contingent.
