On Friday afternoon Upper Sixth organist François Cloete led the Academic Seminar on ‘Beethoven the Revolutionary’, celebrating Beethoven’s 250th birthday with a presentation and discussion of Beethoven’s politics and its effect on his opera Fidelio and the Leonore overtures.
