Year 5 French Fashion Show
Pupils in Year 5 have spent the year learning about colours, weather and clothes in their French lessons with Head of Modern Languages, Jules Desmarchelier, and as a culmination of all their hard work, they choreographed a fabulous French Fashion Show.
Each pupil created a summer and winter outfit, with a written description in French. They then recorded their summary to practice their oral skills and perfect their French pronunciation.
The Fashion Show, held in Cedars Drawing Room proved a riot of rainbow coloured outfits and huge success – what a great way to end a tough year!
Jules Desmarchelier said, “I am extremely proud of our Year 5 pupils – they have worked so hard on writing their own descriptions in French and then learning how to say them! Well done!“
