Celebration Concerts in Wells Cathedral
Last week, Wells musicians from across the music faculty put on two splendid concerts to mark the musical reopening of Wells Cathedral.
After a year without the chance to play in public, Wells Brass and Percussion musicians were delighted to join forces with friends from the Vocal and Organ departments for a concert titled Eternal Source of Light Divine and to perform a programme of celebratory pieces.
Later in the week, Wells Woodwind and Strings musicians celebrated with a programme of much-loved classical music and some contemporary surprises.
The photos show a selection of musicians rehearsing before the evening concerts.
