Art Pupils Enjoy Visit by Tim Marlow
On Tuesday 8th February, Art pupils were excited to see Tim Marlow, speak about ‘working with artists’, as part of the CHATS series, at Cedars Hall. Tim (art historian, writer and broadcaster), who is currently Director of the Design Museum in London and formerly Director of Exhibitions at White Cube in London, both entertained and informed in equal measure. Pupils gained rare insights into the inner workings of some of the World’s most innovative exhibitions and what it’s like to work with and interview some of World’s leading artists, whilst also hearing humorous anecdotes about Tim’s own, somewhat daring, exploits in the name of bringing the history of art to life through his captivating documentaries. The next talk in the CHATS series is with award-winning filmmaker Randall Wright, on Thursday 10th March.
