Bernard Society Hosts OW Stuart Tibbs
On the 24th of March the Bernard Society hosted its fourth guest speaker since re-launching this year after a 90 year hiatus. Mr Stuart Tibbs, Old Wellensian of the Government Economic Service, came to speak to an audience of Society Members and A level Economics pupils on the topic of “How Britain Can Build Africa Back Better and Careers in the Civil Service”. It was a fascinating talk enjoyed by all the pupils with networking opportunities afterwards.
The Bernard Society is a joint group of pupils and staff who come together to invite and host interesting external speakers at the School. These free events are open to the entire School community of pupils, staff and parents.
