Wells Girls’ Hockey Successes
The School have been celebrating some fantastic Girls’ Hockey achievements this half Term.
Congratulations to Linsey Mitchell (left, Year 9) who represented the UK Lions U14 Girls in Rotterdam and Tilly Matthews (right, Year 9) who played for Clifton Robinsons Hockey Club at the Lee Valley Hockey and Tennis Centre, part of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, in the semi final of the England Hockey Tier 1 Supra League. Congratulations also go to Tilly’s younger sister Lulu (centre, Year 7) who played for the Clifton Robinsons Hockey Club U12 side in the England Hockey In2Hockey National Finals – the team came fourth and Lulu scored two goals! Their achievements are testament to their hard work as they strive to improve their Hockey skills.
