School Library Features Diversity Display
Our School Library has recently installed a new display celebrating the diversity of our pupils’ nationalities.
Including birthplace, where in the world they reside and which nationality they claim, our pupils represent 40 different countries including non-sovereign states such as Wales and Jersey. The flag of each country is displayed as part of the Library’s global display featuring stories and authors from around the world. It is also an extension of the diversity and inclusion display featuring LGBTQ+ fiction and nonfiction literature, as well as written and visual work giving breadth and scaffolding to the learning of those studying Oscar Wilde at GCSE and A level.
Thank you to Mrs Brown for her effort and passion towards this unifying display, and for enabling us all to be united by books.
