CHATS Talk 10 – Olivia Bax in Conversation with Jo Baring

On the evening of Friday 11th November, our GCSE and A level Art pupils enjoyed attending a highly informative CHATS Talk in Cedars Hall with artist Olivia Bax in conversation with the art historian and writer, Jo Baring. Olivia, a contemporary British sculptor (previously an assistant to Sir Anthony Caro), discussed a range of topics including her time working with Caro, her views on modern and contemporary sculpture, and the processes involved in the creation of her own work. Pupils were fascinated by her work and the passionate way in which she discussed her creative inspirations and journey. A truly enriching evening!
