Choristers Sing For Charity
Congratulations to our Choristers on their Christmas concerts and services. In the run up to Christmas they took part in three Candlelight Concerts and two Carol Services, and they were involved in two services on Christmas Day.
Despite their busy Christmas schedule, three of our Choristers found the time to raise money for charity. Freya Williams and Belinda Gifford-Guy (Year 7) were busking in Wells to raise money for the Wells Food Bank, while Belinda joined Aleksei Lichter (Year 8) at the Carols Concert in the Marlborough College Chapel to sing in aid of Hope and Homes for Children. The concert was attended by a congregation of 650 and raised an astonishing total of £7000! Well done to Freya, Belinda and Aleksei on their wonderful community efforts.
