National Paper Aeroplane Day competition
Year 7 descended on Cedars Lawn to take part in a paper aeroplane competition in honour of National Paper Aeroplane Day.
The rules were simple: only one sheet of A4 paper could be used to make the plane, each pupil could only make one plane, it could only be thrown once and it had to be named so that the winner could be identified.
In glorious sunshine, more than 60 planes were launched into the air to the sound of raucous cheering! Congratulations to Max Harcourt-Brown who won the individual prize and Mr Brink’s tutor group who won the super size team event.
