Henton Village Hall Jazz concert
The Jazz Orchestra and Senior Jazz Combo presented a concert at Henton Village Hall on Saturday 18th November to raise funds for the modernisation of Henton Church.
The pupils were delighted to perform to a capacity audience with standing room only and queues out of the door! The organisers were even able to make a small donation of £200 towards the upcoming Jazz Combo Tour. A real highlight of the evening was when trumpeter Emma Lane (Lower Sixth) took centre stage to sing Ella Fitzgerald’s version of Cheek to Cheek.
There was a lovely atmosphere and the audience was very appreciative of the music.
