After last year’s success, the Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) trip to the Frankfurt Christmas Market in Birmingham run by Mrs Alabiso was repeated this year. On Wednesday 22nd November, 38 pupils studying German from Year 8 to the Upper Sixth travelled to Birmingham to visit the biggest German Christmas Market in Europe outside Germany and Austria. Pupils were challenged by a Photo Scavenger Hunt, tasked with looking for traditional German products like Knoblauchbrot or Krakauer. They then had time to buy and taste some of these German specialties (and their teachers enjoyed this too!).
