A level Music Day focuses on Beethoven
On Wednesday 13th December, Wells Cathedral School once again welcomed pupils from state schools and independent schools across the South West for an A level Study Day.
This year’s day focused on Beethoven’s Symphony no 5. More than 50 pupils gathered for a day of learning and listening, culminating in a thrilling full performance of the piece by the Wells Cathedral School Symphony Orchestra. A highlight of the day was a participatory dance workshop in the afternoon, with the enthusiastic pupils bringing Beethoven’s dance-rhythms to life!
