Wells Badminton players take home medals

Upper Sixth pupils Aidan, Kingsley, Nicole and Myron competed in the South Somerset Community Badminton Network Junior Tournament held at Wincanton Leisure Centre on Sunday 4th February and returned to Wells with an impressive haul of medals.

Particular congratulations go to Aidan who won the Older Age Singles with Kingsley as the runner up. In addition, Aidan and Kingsley teamed up in the Older Age Doubles to win against Nicole and Myron who were runners up.

Jane Lipton, Head of Badminton, commented, “They all played really well, beating some very good local players.”
