Netball performances
We previously reported that Sylvie and Ada (Year 11) would be playing in Gibraltar for Northern Ireland and Wales respectively, while Mrs Williams, the School’s Head of Netball, would be at the Army Interservices Competition coaching the British Army open and development teams.
We are thrilled to share that Sylvie’s Northern Irish team won their Challenge Cup competition and Ada’s Welsh team came third in their Championship, meanwhile Mrs Williams’ Army teams won the Interservices Competition against the RAF and the Navy!
Describing the opportunity, Ada comments, “Netball Europe was an amazing experience! We played four countries in four days: Scotland, England, UAE and Republic of Ireland. Coming third place overall, I am truly grateful that I had the opportunity to represent my country.”
