Year 9 Geography trip to Cardiff

In March, pupils from Year 9 travelled to Cardiff to investigate themes related to retail developments in the Central Business District. They conducted a retail survey before taking the boat to the redeveloped waterfront where they visited the Coal Exchange, once a symbol of Cardiff’s wealth. Finally they walked across the controversial barrage built to create a true waterfront city.
