UKMT Team Maths Challenge

On Friday 26th April, a team of four Maths specialists from Years 8 and 9 took part in the first United Kingdom Mathematics Trust (UKMT) Team Maths Challenge since Covid. We were delighted to once again take part in this competition where pupils tackled four rounds: group round, cross number, shuttle and relay. En Xuan (Year 9), Lorcan (Year 9), William (Year 8) and Zino (Year 8) worked with focus and accuracy to score highly in each round. The top placed schools were all very close and Wells were placed 3rd overall out of the 11 teams! Well done to the team who were excellent ambassadors for the School.
