Year 4 learn about Ancient Egypt
Year 4 have travelled back in time to Ancient Egypt!
In topic lessons, they researched key facts about pyramids and presented them on 3D pyramid models, played the very competitive Ancient Egyptian board game ‘Senet’, and learnt how to read and write hieroglyphs. English lessons have tied in nicely and some fantastically gory mummification instructions were written which included excellent use of time adverbials and imperative verbs.
