Mendip Area Team Athletics selections
Following their excellent performances at the Mendip Championships, a number of pupils are celebrating selection into the Mendip Area Team at the Somerset Schools Championships on Saturday 8th June.
Congratulations to Olivia (Hurdles and 800m, Year 8), Elspeth (100m, 200m and Javelin, Year 8), Ariane (Discus, Year 8), Kieran (Triple Jump, Year 8), Alexandra (Long Jump, Year 8), Matthew (300m, Year 9), Zak (100m, Year 9), Archie (400m and Long Jump, Year 10), Orlando (800 and 1500m, Year 11), Brett (200m, Year 11), Samuel (Triple Jump, Year 11), Ethan (Shot Putt, Lower Sixth), Abigail (Shot Putt, Upper Sixth), Rowan (Javelin, Upper Sixth) and Nina (High Jump, Upper Sixth).
This is the first time 14 pupils have represented the School in this team, so they should all be very proud of their efforts!
