Ariane’s Tae Kwondo success
On Sunday 9th June Ariane (Year 8) took part in the British Tae Kwondo Council Championships, winning gold to become the British All Style Champion in the U15 girls red belt heavyweight division.
These were the inaugural all-style, all-federation championships spanning every registered Tae Kwondo club in the country and in a very close contest in the final, she prevailed over the English team trained fighter to take the gold. She later went on to win a bronze in the team sparring event.
Earlier this year she won individual silver at the South West championships and bronze medals at both the English and Welsh championships, together with team gold at the English championships.
Well done, Ariane!
