Navy cadets improve communication skills
Year 9 Navy cadets tackled two leadership tasks in June.
The first required them to find fuel cells and battery packs which had been scattered around an area. The cadets were blindfolded and contained within a roped area; they had to use their communication and teamwork skills to locate all eight items before returning to their ship. The second challenge involved them using drain pipes to refuel their stranded ship. They had to transfer as much water as possible from the ‘fuel depot’ to their ship by working together.
The group had lots of fun and got a little bit wet in the process!
