Wells hosts Badminton players at Somerset Championships
On Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th September, we held the Somerset Championships, at which Wells was well-represented by our Badminton players.
Mason C (Year 11) competed in the U16 open singles, Alvan W (Lower Sixth), Horus C (Lower Sixth), Kingston L (Upper Sixth), Key C (Upper Sixth) and Kenyon C (Upper Sixth) in the U19 open singles, Hana W (Upper Sixth) in the U19 girls singles and Kingston, Kenyon, Key and Horus in the U19 open doubles. Hana and Riana T (Upper Sixth) came runners-up in the U19 girls doubles! They are photographed with Chris Hutchings, the Chair of Somerset Badminton Association, who presented their medals.
